EDUCATION
Gal received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. She holds licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training, LPC-IT, in the state of Wisconsin. She attends clinical supervision and professional development to enhance her learning and work quality, ensuring her clients receive excellent mental health services.
EXPERIENCE
In 2019, Gal courageously followed her greatest dream by moving from Israel to the United States, where she began her journey as a student-athlete, playing basketball and studying psychology at Cardinal Stritch University. After earning her degree, she continued her academic path by pursuing a Master’s degree at Marquette University.
Before beginning work in an outpatient therapy practice, Gal completed her internship at the Benedict Center in Milwaukee, where she provided individual counseling and led group sessions focused on trauma and addiction. She also facilitated educational workshops covering topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, self-defense, and fitness.
Gal is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and her therapeutic style is grounded in a humanistic, person-centered approach.
