Claire Schulz Bergman, LCSW
Claire Schulz Bergman is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of working in the mental health field and wellness industry. She helps her clients focus on themselves, their lives and how they want to live it. Humans are powerful and Claire believes that with intention we can create the life we want.
Claire’s approach to therapy is a hybrid of traditional talk therapy and life coaching. Through her work with clients, she helps them identify goals and uncover barriers that stand in the way of healing. She believes in the power of mindfulness, meditation, journaling, movement, and other self-care practices that reduce overall stress in one’s life.
Claire focuses on the whole person, incorporating all areas of wellness; mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, environmental, and social.
Claire specializes in working with both individuals and couples who are experiencing anxiety, stress, lifestyle changes (from new parents to empty nesting, location, job, and relationship changes), feelings of being stuck, infertility, adoption, serious health diagnoses, grief and loss, body image issues, and improving overall health and wellness.
Her current passions include working with individuals (of all ages but especially midlife) who are facing major life transitions, who feel out of balance or stuck in their life and want to make lasting change. She has a special interest in integrating her experience in the health and wellness industry with her background as a therapist to assist clients in meeting their goals.
EDUCATION
Claire received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, in the state of Wisconsin.
