Jeremy Mohelnitzky, LPC
Jeremy Mohelnitzky is a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through meaningful life challenges and transitions. He brings a positive, grounded perspective to his work and believes that seeking therapy is something to be supported and celebrated—as part of personal growth and healing.
Jeremy works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, career / employment concerns, identity issues, relationship challenges, and addiction related concerns. His approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual, helping clients better understand themselves while building the insight and accountability needed to create lasting change.
Jeremy has a particular passion for supporting people who are in the midst of making a change—whether that’s a shift in relationships, career, identity, or lifestyle. Jeremy understands that these moments can bring uncertainty, fear, and vulnerability, and he strives to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported as they move forward with clarity and confidence.
As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Jeremy offers additional expertise in career counseling, workplace challenges, and understanding how mental health and disability can impact functioning and overall well-being.
Jeremy is deeply committed to supporting individuals from marginalized communities and thoughtfully integrates cultural awareness and intersectionality into his work.
EDUCATION
Jeremy completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Rehabilitation Psychology. He went on to earn his Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds a professional license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wisconsin.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to transitioning into private practice, Jeremy began his career in 2015 at the Veterans Hospital in Milwaukee, where he worked with Veterans navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and physical disabilities. In both inpatient and outpatient settings, he supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and personality related concerns, while also addressing the broader impact these challenges can have on daily functioning and community reintegration.
Jeremy brings extensive experience facilitating both individual and group therapy, with a focus on recovery, holistic well-being, and career development.
He has also served as an Adjunct Professor in Mount Mary University’s Professional Counseling program, where he supported the development of future clinicians.
